30 CE total credits are available for all mental health providers (psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and counselors).
This 30-hour, year-long, introductory-level interactive course is geared towards all mental health clinicians and is led by Dr. Julie Bindeman from Integrative Therapy of Greater Washington, and a Past-Chair of the Mental Health Professional Group of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. The 10-month-long course will be an overview of the field of reproductive psychology, including infertility, pregnancy/neonatal losses, postpartum concerns, birth trauma, and much more. Each month, we will explore and do a deep dive into one of these topics. An Ethics Day will be included.
The course is limited to a maximum of 16 participants per section to ensure an atmosphere that promotes both didactic and experiential learning and case consultation. This course is intended for beginners or those who have had relatively few classes in these topics. Earn 3 Continuing Education Credits for each meeting, for a total of 30 CE’s for the year. Dr. Bindeman is experienced in empirically supported strategies for managing the many potential outcomes during the reproductive years, which can include infertility, perinatal mood and anxiety concerns, pregnancy loss, and birth trauma.
*All ten classes are expected to be attended. If a participant cannot attend a class, they may watch the recorded session and complete a quiz for credit.
