ITGW Groups
Often times, we feel alone when we struggle. Group therapy reduces the sense of isolation and is able to work with specific concerns in a safe therapeutic setting. The group modality is a powerful one as it facilitates change through peer interaction, problem solving, role playing, and real time dynamics.
ITGW is always happy to offer additional groups beyond what is currently scheduled. Active groups include:
Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Group
A monthly group for women that have had two or more miscarriages or losses. For more information or to join the group please contact Dr. Julie Bindeman.
Fertility After 40 Group
A monthly group for women that are struggling to build or continue to build their family after age 40. For more information or to join the group please contact Dr. Julie Bindeman.
General Infertility Group
A monthly group that gives support for women that are struggling with conceiving their first child. For more information or to join the group please contact Dr. Julie Bindeman.
Pregnancy/Parenting After Loss Group
A monthly group that gives support for women that are pregnant or in the early days of parenting after experiencing a pregnancy or neonatal loss. For more information or to join the group please contact Dr. Julie Bindeman.
All Groups are offered Virtually and a link is sent out once a person confirms their attendance. The reproductive groups are considered to be professionally led support-groups. Groups are on a drop-in basis (meaning you don’t have to commit to more than one) and each group costs $35.
Past offerings have included:
CHAT (Children Have Alot to Tell)–a group for elementary school aged kids
Parent Support for Kids with Special Needs–a weekly support group (that is time limited) designed to support parents with children that have special needs, including emotional, developmental, and physical.
Gone But Not Forgotten–a monthly group for those that have experienced pregnancy losses in the 2nd or 3rd trimesters.
