30 CE total credits are available for all mental health providers (psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and counselors).

This 30-hour introductory-level year-long course is geared towards all mental health clinicians and will be led by Dr. Julie Bindeman from Integrative Therapy of Greater Washington. This 10-month-long course will be an overview of the field of reproductive psychology and will cover infertility, pregnancy/neonatal losses, postpartum issues, and birth trauma. Each month, we will explore an aspect of one of these topics in depth. The course is limited to a maximum of 16 participants for each cohort to ensure an atmosphere that promotes didactic learning as well as experiential and case consultation. This course is considered to be for beginners or those who have had relatively few classes in these topical areas. There will be one month devoted to ethics. Attendance at all of the meetings will yield 30 Continuing Education Credits. Dr. Bindeman is experienced in empirically supported strategies for managing the many potential outcomes during the reproductive years which can include infertility, perinatal mood and anxiety concerns, pregnancy loss, and birth trauma.

*All ten classes are expected to be attended. If a participant cannot attend one of the classes, they will be permitted to watch the recorded session and will be required to complete a quiz for credit to be given.
