Sam Allen, MS LGMFT
As a couple and family therapist, I utilize a systemic mentality in working with my patients to help them attain their goals and improve their wellbeing. Borrowing from my backgrounds in culinary arts & nutrition, yoga, fitness, and public health, I emphasize holism as a method to make comprehensive and lasting changes in one’s life. My clinical work specializes in couples/dyads, families, and individuals, and employs a range of integrative techniques based in cognitive behavioral, experiential, feminist, and intergenerational models of therapy. As a current PhD student in family science, my current research focuses on families of transgender children and adolescents.
